Courses at Kay’s are unique in so far as we supply you with an array of flowers, foliage & containers etc to work with, all flowers in your arrangements are used once (not taken apart to reuse on another arrangement) and are yours to take home. By using a wide selection of both flowers & foliage you get the opportunity to experience working with flowers that may not be available in your local supermarkets.
At Kay's we aim to rid you of any bad habits and show you the professional short cuts. We give you the skills and business advice to create sales & profits.
Because we are an independent floristry school we can tell you the trade secrets & give you practical business advice whether you wish to earn a second income from home, work freelance, or maybe work in or start your own Floristry business.
We recommend you to begin your training by enroling on Module 1 Flower Arranging. This course begins with a complete foundation section suitable for complete beginners. If you have completed a floristry or flower arranging course prior, we advise you to discuss with us which course would be most suitable for you to enroll on.
We provide you with a full backup and support service. Whether you need advice on costing, pricing, techniques, dealing with clients etc, we are always here to assist.
All of our Floristry courses are open to anyone who has an interest in flowers . Our students have ranged from 17 to 70 and from all walks of life. It is this diversity that makes our classes so enjoyable and fulfilling.
We aim to keep our classes small to ensure you receive individual attention throughout your training.
Our Tutors have immeasurable experience as both florists and as trainers.
