We have removed all non-user verified listings from ZipLeaf Ireland and UK business directories. We have also removed all personal user-account information (name, phone number, relationship to businesses). We are still performing changes to ensure the data we store is NOT personally identifiable, until these changes are completed all users within these two countries will not be able to login to their account. Some changes we are working on includes hashing IP addresses so we do not store nor can reverse engineer a users IP address, however we can use the hashed version to prevent spam etc. Google Analytics has already updated their systems to be GDRP compliant. We also never store visitor IP addresses locally on our systems, the only way we are able to lookup basic statisticis about our audience is via Google Analytics, and we have no access to raw data. Any questions, feel free to email us.
Side note: we welcome these privacy changes Europe is adopting and look forward to the rest of the world implementing similar policies. Users' privacy is becoming an important topic and rightfully so. While we are a service provider, we are also users :)
